Project initiative

In 2008 the Office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Education) funded Employment and Career Development to "scope work-integrated learning at Monash".

Background

Since 1961, when Engineering introduced a six-day "hands-on" workshop, many faculties at Monash have included work-integrated learning as a core element of their teaching program.

The current project is about refining, discussing what makes a quality program and providing assistance to staff via resources, industry and community contacts and an avenue towards greater collegiality.
