2008 International Jobseeker Expo - 10 September, 11.00am to 3.00pmBuilding H, (Ground floor, H1.16, Monash University Caulfield Campus)Following successful events in 2006 and 2007, Monash University will host its third annual International Jobseeker Expo in September 2008. This premier event will take place at the Caulfield Campus in Melbourne from Wednesday 10 to Friday 12 September. This event is exclusively for Monash University students and recent graduates with Information Sessions and Campus Interviews taking place in the days following. Entry is free. Registration is not required to attend the main Expo event.International and Australian organisations will visit Monash to showcase their employment and career opportunities and will look to recruit students and recent graduates for employment in Australia and all around the world. Opportunities are available for both international and Australian domestic undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as recent Monash graduates. A series of Information Sessions will take place on Thursday, 11 September. Guest speakers will present details of their own career experiences, along with insight into their organisations' recruitment processes, opportunities, work cultures and lifestyles in different countries around the world. There may be an opportunity to attend campus interviews with visiting delegates on either Thursday 11 or Friday 12 September, so have your resumes ready and practise your interview skills now. Dress smart-casual for the main Expo event and information sessions, however, formal business attire should be worn if an employer invites you to attend an interview. Don't forget!
