2008 Career Start Program (Clayton) - 8 to 10 July

Do you want to enter the professional labour market?

Do you need to develop your career transition skills?

If you answered "YES" to either of the above questions then Career Start - a comprehensive three-day career education program facilitated by Monash University Employment and Career Development - will benefit you.

What is Career Start?

Career Start combines practical activities, information and advice, to help you develop the knowledge and skills needed to successfully apply for professional employment.

A key attraction of the program is the involvement of a wide range of employers and industry representatives who will:

• deliver presentations
• conduct mock interviews
• run simulated assessment centre activities, and
• provide helpful insights into graduate recruitment

The next Career Start program will run Tuesday 8 July to Thursday 10 July inclusive, during mid-year vacation. The program is particularly relevant to students about to enter the professional labour market. Places are open to Monash students from all campuses and disciplines.

Registration is essential and a fee of $70* applies to participate. Book NOW as places are strictly limited.

Registration & Payment

Please Note: You have not registered for Career Start until after you have completed the following four steps.

1. Download the registration form
2. Fill in your details
3. Take your completed form with payment to the Student Services Desk at your local campus
4. Bring your receipt, along with the completed registration form to the Employment and Career Development office at the Clayton Campus to confirm your registration.

Registration closes at 12.00pm, Monday 7 July, 2008 (or earlier if all places are filled).
