Discipline Targeted Mail-outs / eMail-outs

Promote your recruitment program via a discipline targeted mail-out or email-out to students.

Monash University Employment and Career Development can mail information on your behalf, locally and internationally, to selected groups from any Monash course, field of study or year level.

Mail-outs are an effective way to advertise job opportunities and generate interest from suitably qualified candidates. Additionally, they can be used to publicise your upcoming recruitment events and disseminate related literature.

Mail-outs are cost efficient - an excellent method of making direct contact with your target audience. You supply the promotional materials and we do the rest, guaranteeing to meet your timeframes and manage the send so that all recipients are reached at the same time.

Alternatively, we can email short text messages to students on your behalf (no attachments). Like mail-outs, emails can be targeted by discipline so that only the appropriate students receive your recruitment information. Monash University Employment and Career Development will transmit all messages and content will be at the discretion of Monash University Employment and Career Development management.

Fees (GST inclusive)

  • Research / Admin Fee to source/extract/prepare student data: A$115.00 per mail-out/email-out (payable whether or not the send proceeds)
  • Handling Fee (mail): $2.50 per article
  • Handling Fee (email): $1.50 per article
  • Postage (mail only), dependant on size, weight and destination of article
  • A surcharge for third parties may apply

Privacy Conditions

Due to privacy constraints, all mail items, including postcards, will be over-wrapped in Monash University Employment and Career Development envelopes and must fit standard DL or A4 sizes.

Email campaigns must comprise plain text messages, with no images or attachments.

All materials must include the following privacy disclaimer:

"This information has been sent to you on our behalf by Monash University Employment and Career Development, without disclosure of your name and address details. The provision of this information does not constitute an endorsement by the University of the merits or otherwise of the organisation providing the information. The University is simply passing on information which may assist you in your job search. You should make your own inquiries to verify any of the information given."
